Fulfilling the Great Commission

PRAYER
WNAC considers prayer one of its primary ministries. For many years, 9:00 a.m. marked a call to prayer each day for Women Active for Christ. Today’s busy lifestyles, jobs and schooling demands may have altered the time, yet women still daily approach the Throne for the needs of the world. Two annually promoted Weeks of Prayer join women in a concerted effort of intercession for missionary works both in North America and worldwide. Local prayer coordinators keep women abreast of missions and local prayer needs and share specific answers to those prayers.

MISSION TRIPS
Today’s affordability and increased volume of international travel makes it not only possible for women to support Great Commission ministries around the world, but also to experience them. WNAC’s first mission trip to the Sisters’ Prayer Fellowship in Central Asia in 2005 gave WAC state leaders contact and vision for women’s outreach in Central Asia. Future trips involving not only leaders, but more Women Active for Christ promise to provide women with upclose and personal opportunities for world-outreach ministry.
