{"id":1944,"date":"2010-04-27T00:37:17","date_gmt":"2010-04-27T06:37:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=1944"},"modified":"2010-04-05T14:41:59","modified_gmt":"2010-04-05T20:41:59","slug":"all-things-to-save-some","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=1944","title":{"rendered":"All Things to Save Some"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cTo the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:\u00a0 I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some\u201d (1 Corinthians 9:22).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ladies, when you were someone\u2019s <em>mission field<\/em> didn\u2019t you respond more to someone who first shared a testimony and developed a bond with you?\u00a0\u00a0 The fact that person took the time to build a friendship then share the gospel may have been instrumental in your decision to follow Christ.\u00a0 This person didn\u2019t compromise values to be your buddy.\u00a0 You actually respected this.<\/p>\n<p>One commentary I read about our verse stated the following about Paul, \u201cWhen I am with those whose consciences bothered them easily, I don\u2019t act as though I know it all and don\u2019t say they are foolish; the result is that they are willing to let me help them.\u201d\u00a0 Paul was not afraid to use all possible means to lead someone to Christ.\u00a0 Wherever and whatever your station in life, you will encounter people who need the Lord.\u00a0 Ask God to help you be resourceful in using all means that you, too, might be able to lead some to Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Sue Winchester<br \/>\nMissouri<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRAY TOGETHER:<\/strong> Pray today for our national leaders from the highest official to our local community servants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cTo the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:\u00a0 I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some\u201d (1 Corinthians 9:22).
