Whether wedding gifts or gifts for any other special occasion, we love to receive them\u2014even though they&#8217;re probably items that won&#8217;t last forever.<\/p>\n<p>Our verse indicates that one day there will be a payday at the end of life\u2019s road. If we have given our heart to Jesus, we will avoid sin\u2019s wages. Christ offers us the gift of eternal life. He doesn\u2019t force us to take it, but aren\u2019t you grateful it is available?
