{"id":3083,"date":"2011-06-24T00:22:59","date_gmt":"2011-06-24T06:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=3083"},"modified":"2011-06-18T11:28:21","modified_gmt":"2011-06-18T17:28:21","slug":"an-obvious-difference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=3083","title":{"rendered":"An Obvious Difference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cWhosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.\u00a0 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother\u201d (1 John 3:9-10).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>When we are trying to live a pure life, there should be a marked difference between usand the world.\u00a0 Sadly, many Christians are compromising their values to the point we can\u2019t see a contrast. They have taken Paul\u2019s words in 1 Corinthians 9:22b way out of context. We\u2019ll never lead a person to Christ by compromising our beliefs. In fact, others may end up bringing us down.\u00a0\u00a0 We need to build bridges in order to reach others with the gospel, but others also need to see a difference in our lives.<\/p>\n<p>If we are truly born again, our live swill emulate Christ. We will desire to be more like Him. We won\u2019t long to slip back into sin, and we will love others.
