{"id":3168,"date":"2011-07-29T00:57:48","date_gmt":"2011-07-29T06:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=3168"},"modified":"2011-07-11T14:00:21","modified_gmt":"2011-07-11T20:00:21","slug":"be-it-unto-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=3168","title":{"rendered":"Be It unto Me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cAnd Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.\u00a0 And the angel departed from her\u201d\u00a0 (Luke 1:38).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last, but certainly not least, is the example of another woman who was willing to shine in obedience.\u00a0 Mary, the mother of Jesus, was just a young Jewish girl who was willing to be used of God.\u00a0 She never intended to be elevated to a place of prominence. We know her story and how an angel visited her.\u00a0 She may not have understood, at first, the significance of\u00a0 the news that was shared, but, she accepted it by faith.\u00a0 She, in obedience to the will of God, uttered today\u2019s verse.<\/p>\n<p>You may not be called by God through some miraculous event, but when you feel He is calling you through His Spirit, will you be able to answer just as Mary did?\u00a0\u00a0 Will you shine for Him in obedience?<\/p>\n<p>Sue Winchester<br \/>\nMissouri<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRAY TOGETHER:<\/strong> <em><strong><\/strong><\/em>Weather disasters?
