\u201cShe looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her\u201d (Proverbs 31:27-28).<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you remember \u201cRuby”?\u00a0 We learned about her when we studied Proverbs 31.\u00a0 Ruby (a.k.a the virtuous woman) derives her name from Proverbs 31:10.\u00a0 Many wives and mothers strive to follow her example.\u00a0 She sets the standard high, but we must desire to serve like her in the home.\u00a0 This is a little easier for those who don\u2019t work outside the home. However, never feel you are just a wife and mother. It is one of God\u2019s highest callings.<\/p>\n

For those who juggle home and a job, I tip my hat to you. I know both sides of what that is like.\u00a0 It takes discipline to set priorities and try to be organized either way. However, knowing your family appreciates all you do is a great reward.\u00a0 As you serve God in your home, God will one day reward your work.<\/p>\n

PRAY TOGETHER:<\/strong> Pray for home missionary and pastor’s wives who juggle home, job and ministry roles. Ask God to help them keep priorities ordered rightly as they work today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
