“I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from your slavery in Egypt. \u00a0You have no God but me, for there is no other savior. \u00a0I took care of you in the wilderness, in that dry and thirsty land. \u00a0But when you had eaten and were satisfied, then you became proud and forgot me”\u00a0 (Hosea 13:4-6 NLT).<\/em><\/p>\n

You’ve not forgotten God, have you?<\/p>\n

We all heard you crying out for Him in the midst of your valley.<\/p>\n

We overheard your sobs as you climbed the mountain in your path.<\/p>\n

We were there with you at the altar as you begged Him for help, for relief, for salvation.<\/p>\n

And He heard you, didn’t He?<\/p>\n

Have you forgotten Him now that things are rosey?\u00a0 Is church no longer needed now that your situation is calming?\u00a0 Are Christian friends not as cool to be around, now that the emergency has passed. \u00a0The altar, well, has it been used since that need?<\/p>\n

You’ve been given a drink in His name. \u00a0Your belly is full from His blessings. \u00a0The skies above are blue. \u00a0The sun’s out. \u00a0And you? \u00a0Have you forgotten your Savior?<\/p>\n
