{"id":4205,"date":"2012-07-24T00:40:21","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T06:40:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=4205"},"modified":"2012-07-23T19:48:27","modified_gmt":"2012-07-24T01:48:27","slug":"a-friend-loves-always","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wnac.org\/twg\/?p=4205","title":{"rendered":"A Friend Loves Always"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cA friend loveth at all times\u2026\u201d\u00a0 (Proverbs 17:17a).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As I thought about this portion of today&#8217;s Scripture, my mind drifted to thoughts of my best friend who lives in St. Louis.\u00a0 We have been friends for over thirty years.\u00a0 She has seen me at my best, and sadly, she has seen me at my worst.\u00a0 However, she still loves me.\u00a0 She exemplifies our verse. I\u2019m very fortunate to have her in my life. When I moved from St. Louis, I was afraid it might affect our friendship.\u00a0 So far it has hasn\u2019t, and I\u2019m very grateful.\u00a0 I rejoice in my soul that God placed her in my life.\u00a0 We have this \u201csisters in heart\u201d bond that has stayed strong through the years.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m presently reading <em>The Friendship Factor<\/em> by Brenda Poinsett.\u00a0 This book emphasizes that women need other women.\u00a0 With all the technology that helps us stay connected , women still find a desperate need to sit down and talk face to face..
