Well, he, his fifteen sons, and twenty servants would now work the land of Mephibosheth.\u00a0 They would become his servants. The honor of eating at the table, \u201cas one of the king\u2019s sons&#8221; is one Mephibosheth never expected. One last note on Mephibosheth\u2014he had a young son named Micha who became a leader in the tribe of Benjamin. Obviously, his life had been spared along with his father.<\/p>\n<p>The author of the online commentary enduringword.com offers these two conclusions. \u201cDavid\u2019s grace to Mephibosheth is a wonderful picture of God\u2019s grace to us. We are Mephibosheth.\u00a0 David\u2019s grace to Mephibosheth is also a pattern for us in serving and ministering to others.
