As I watch the autumn leaves fall to the ground, I absorb its beauty. This is one event that I missed in Southern France due to the fact that most of the trees in our yard were evergreens. Despite missing out on these small pleasures, France brought something into my life that I will never be able to pen on paper. It is a new appreciation for life. Not just life itself, but for living it. We only have this moment, we are guaranteed nothing more. And in this moment, God has called us to glorify Him in everything. How I wish I had better understood this as a young adult. Maybe I would not have wasted time, God’s time. As Sean and I continue to fill the Missionary in Residence position at FWBBC through the end of this school year, this concept is the one thought I would like to expose to the young adults on campus. Deliberately living for Christ only adds to life, it never takes from it.
