The Songs of Nature
Isaiah 55:12
“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace, the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.â€
Have you ever noticed the music that comes from nature? The other day I walked under a pine tree and stopped to listen to the calming sound the wind makes rustling through the branches. The birds sing from the trees, the frogs bellow from the ponds, the bees hum their tunes in the air, the crickets play their music in the evening, the river rushes her melodies as she moves along her path, the thunder beats his drum through the skies and all of God’s creation joins in nature’s choir.
With all of the songs of nature around us, how can we help but have a song in our hearts?
