“She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Strength and honor are her clothing” (Proverbs 31:20, 25a).
“Ruby” may have to take care of herself and her household, but she manages to find time to reach out to the less fortunate. She maintains a glowing testimony. She wears “strength and honor” like fine apparel.
Many women give up trying to become a “Ruby” because they feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities. They feel there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done and also minister to the needs of others. Next week we will touch on the subject of “priorities.” They are needful if we surrender all to follow Jesus. As a “Ruby,” you will have to learn the art of juggling. Write Philippians 4:13 indelibly on your heart and mind. You CAN do it all!
