Pray Forward

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14).

If the Lord tarries His coming, we will need to “pray forward,” looking to the future of home missions work. There is an urgency to spread the gospel before His return.

We can’t ignore the need that today’s verses present. Who will our present missionaries turn the work over to when the time comes? The laborers are few to work the harvest now. What will the future hold? “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:38).

Pray Together: PRAY FORWARD: Pray today for future missionaries and ministries. (Pray that God would burden hearts with the urgency of the harvest; pray that believers of all ages would respond to His call.)
