Proverbs 31:12 “She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.â€
The duty of a pastor’s wife is to be the pastor’s wife and helpmeet. She serves the church through her husband the pastor. She loves him and has dedicated her life to him. While her dedication and love for him grow, her ability to be the wife he needs becomes more and more a blessing. She is his confidant, his help, his strength, his friend, his lover, his everything. She was chosen and given as a gift to her pastor husband and they shall serve together a lifetime.

Thank you for this devotional thought. As a pastor’s wife, I have always felt that it was my “job” to be the pastor’s wife, and not the “church’s wife”. If I serve him, I serve them. Once again, I appreciate this thought.
Thank you for the devotional thought on the Pastor’s wife. This is how I have always viewed my role as a pastor’s wife. I have always felt that I was the pastor’s wife and not the “church’s wife”. When I serve him, I am serving our congregation, as well as the Lord.
