“And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die” (Genesis 3:5).
Satan’s lies began in the Garden of Eden when he spoke to Eve in the form of a serpent. Obviously she didn’t seem to be as afraid of him as I would have been. Their conversation would have an impact on all mankind. If Satan can entice us to disobey God, he has us right where he wants us. It becomes a progressive thing. The more we listen to Satan’s lies, the further we will turn away from God. Beware of the lies of a deadly “serpent.” Trust and obey God.
