“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me” (Micah 7:8).
We’ve all faced dark days. Even people in the Bible could identify the last part of today’s verse. There’s no shame in feeling down; just don’t stay down.
One familiar saying goes: “It’s not how far you fall; it’s how high you bounce.”
God sees how the enemy reacts when you fall. He sees the pain and tears that fill the dark days you are experiencing. God gently whispers, “Get up and let my light guide you through this.” Calm yourself so you can hear Him speak to you.
