“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof” (Revelation 21:23).
In Heaven there will be no need of sun or moon. The glory of the Eternal Light of Heaven will shine brighter than any earthly lights. There was need of them on earth to divide day and night and set in place the seasons. When we get to the holy city, everything needed on earth will be gone. The holy city will only need the True Light to radiate the glory of God.
