Stumbling in Darkness

“But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes”  (1 John 2:11).

If we aren’t abiding in God’s light, a black cloud may loom over us—the cloud of not loving one another.  We’re still stumbling around because our eyes are blinded. God commanded us to love one another. When we choose to disobey this command, we slip back into darkness. Come back into His marvelous light. Ask Him to dispel all darkness so you can once again see where you are going.  We can prove to a sin-darkened world that we belong to Christ, by the love we have for one another (John 13:35).
