“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols” (Revelation 2:20).
Our verse speaks of the evil Jezebel and her influence on others. Churches today are in need of purging the evil influences within them. We need revival.
Whether we want to admit it or not, we have an influence—either for good or evil. What is your influence in your local church? Think on this old phrase, “What would my church be, if every member were just like me?” Are you willing to shine in purity within your local church?
