“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10).
We are to be faithful stewards of the special abilities God gives us. Don’t hoard them. Use them to minister to the needs of others. Alfred Barnes’ notes on the Bible offers these words of commentary on today’s verse: “Even so minister the same one to another—in anything by which you can benefit another. Regard what you have and they have not as a gift bestowed upon you by God for the common good, and be ready to impart it as the needs of others require.”
