Gifted to Exhort

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee”  (Titus 2:13-15).

We have a message of hope for a lost and dying world.  By the authority of the Word of God, we must take a stand and share that message. These verses contain that message. You may be given the opportunity  to encourage or even rebuke, if necessary. But don’t back down.  Don’t let anyone despise you for speaking the truth.

Even if we don’t think we have the gift of exhortation, we can all be body builders and encourage one another in the faith.
