“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1).
It’s often difficult to apply this verse when you are going through sickness, suffering, or grief. On any given day it seems easier to say, “Woe is me.” If we can find the strength to get through the day, we have reason to praise God. If we start counting our blessings and being thankful that He is with us, it will help us to focus more on Him than our problems. I would rather face life with my hand in His than to add to my misery by thinking I could ever make it without Him. In spite of our circumstances, remember God is right beside us. Praise His Matchless Name!
