“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
There comes a time when we must allow God to give our minds a spiritual charge. Maybe we’ve lost your mind set. Maybe we’ve let things of the world slip in where qualities mentioned in Philippians 4:8 should have been.
I like what The Living Bible says about today’s verse. “Don’t copy the behavior and the customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think.” Sounds like a great way to combat atrophy of the mind.
