Blessings of Humility

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name if Holy; I dwell in the high and holy  place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones”  (Isaiah  57:15).

The Living Bible states this about today’s verse: “The high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, the Holy One, says this: I live in that high and holy place where those with contrite, humble spirits dwell, and I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.”

There are times in our lives we face circumstances we cannot bear alone. It’s wonderful to know if we humbly go before the Lord, He will walk beside us through them. When these times pass isn’t it wonderful to know He will refresh us and “give new courage?”

             “Ain’t God Good”

Ain’t God good to give us so many blessings?
Undeserving, that’s what we are
We ought to thank Him, love and praise Him
A little more today and a whole lot more tomorrow.
