GOD WAS WITH SOLOMON
“And Solomon, the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly” (2 Chronicles 1:1).
If Solomon had ended his reign as he started it, there would have been no end to his great accomplishments. Our verse states God had been with him. Solomon asked God for wisdom. God granted him wisdom and blessed him with great wealth. His insatiable search for pleasure and turning away from God to idols were his downfall.
God promises to be with you no matter what you face in life. Don’t follow Solomon’s downward path; choose to continually trust and obey the Lord.
