Angel of Light

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:13-14).

Sometimes the devil would be easier to spot if he went around dressed in red and carried a pitchfork. He is a master of disguises.  It goes back to the fall of Adam and Eve.  He could even make a deadly serpent look harmless. He will transform himself into whatever is necessary to lure you away from God.  In his impersonations, he will use his resources to manipulate you into believing his lies.  Beware. Just as the false apostles were phony, the prince of darkness is really masquerading as an “angel of light.”
