“But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they” (Acts 15:11).
The “they” in today’s verse referred to the Jews. The Pharisees felt the Gentiles needed to be circumcised and made to obey the law of Moses. Paul preached that God made no distinction between the Jews and Gentiles. We are all sinners and all can be saved from our sins by believing in His grace.
We are no longer under the burden of the law. Even if we feel we are not worthy to accept the free gift of salvation, His grace is only a prayer away. God sent His Son as the supreme sacrifice for our sins. Just believe and accept His mercy. We may never understand such boundless love, but we can know and be grateful for His grace.
