Confess and Be Saved

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

As devasting as some illnesses may be, none can compare to the sinsick soul.  We find in today’s verses the prescription from the Great Physician.  The plan of salvation is not as complicated as some folks would make it.  Even after we are saved, we need to follow up with the Great Physcian.(1 John 1:9)
Whatever it takes for you to be made whole, be willing to trust God for whatever the need. Maybe it involves a physical or spiritual healing, or perhaps both. The woman in our Bible study received both.  Healing began with the touch of His garment. Tomorrow we will witness Christ’s declaration to this woman. In desperation she reached out and was made whole.
