Words of Healing

“But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour” (Matthew 9:22).

No matter which Gospel account you choose to read, wouldn’t you have loved to witness the event described in today’s verses?  What a thrill to hear the Savior say the words that resulted in her compllete healing!
Let’s end this week of study, meditating on words from the old hymn, “Break Thou the Bread of Life.”
Oh, send Thy Spirit, Lord,

Now unto me,

That He may touch my eyes,

And make me see;

Show me the truth concealed

Within Thy Word,

And in Thy Book revealed

I see the Lord.

Bless Thou the truth, dear Lord,

To me, to me,

As Thou didst bless the bread

By Galilee;

Then shall all bondage cease,

All fetters fall,

And I shall find my peace,

My All in all.
