A Command with Promise

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,and of the Holy Ghose:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”  (Matthew 28:19-20).

As we learned yesterday, we are created for God’s glory.  We give Him glory when we obey His commands.  We may be familiar with today’s verses, but, are we obeying His final command?  Believing the promise attached to this command should help us carry out His will.

We may not be called to go across the seas to a foreign land. However, we are called to go across the street to a neighbor who may be from a foreign land.  Be bold in your witness, following God’s command with promise.

PRAY TOGETHER: Give God praise along with the Donnie Burke family, home missionaries to Castle Rock, CO, for the purchase of land for their future building.  Pray that God will enable them to accomplish their plans to pay off the purchase amount within a year.
