The Son Was Also There

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

God’s Son is referred in today’s scripture as the “Word.” The next verse states the Word “was in the beginning with God.” There should be no doubt this was God’s Son. I can think of no one closer to the Father than His Son to work with Him in creation. Jesus was the “Word” which either written or spoken reveals He was with the Father during the creation process. Tomorrow we will see the final part of the Trinity in creation. Yes, even the Holy Spirit was there. How marvelous that every part of God’s being formed our wonderful earth!
