“And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air, and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature that was the name thereof†(Genesis 2:19).
There are many verses I could have chosen to reveal how loving and caring our Creator is. Today’s verse shows us how God allowed Adam to name the animals He had made. He knew Adam would enjoy doing this. Maybe not the greatest picture of God’s love but since Adam was going to have dominion over them, God wanted to make sure Adam would enjoy this task. God wants us to enjoy life on earth as we wait for His return. He wants us to look to the simple things of life to give us that joy. He loves and cares for us in every aspect of our being.
