Ease
Isaiah 32:9a “Rise up, ye women that are at ease;â€
This passage is a warning to the women of Jerusalem. In the next verse God calls them careless daughters and tells them to give ear to Him.
I have two fine dogs I love. But most of the day Manchester and Buck are at ease on the back deck. There are two nice chase deck chairs out there and I have even put blankets down on these chairs for them. So, most of the time they are at ease in a lot of comfort. They never get anything done. And that is the downfall of being at ease. Are we comfortably at ease in our Christian life? Rise up and give ear to the Lord!
