Who’s Your Daddy?

All of those biblical “begat” lists tie fathers to children with an occasional mother’s name thrown in for good measure. Lineage was important, but the most precious of lineages is the one of that famous Baby born in Bethlehem just over 2000 years ago. It is vital to teach our children the spiritual truths we have been taught, and encourage them through study, sharing, and church attendance to solidify these truths in their own lives.

HOW DO YOU RELATE?

Read Deuteronomy 11:18-21. In your notebook, write down ways you have taught the words of God to your children or to children in your church. Make a list of things you feel compelled to teach children about service to the Lord. Through prayer and study commit to a timeline of sharing and teaching these little ones. Write down your plans and a timeline.
