We’re All In This Together

Godly people greatly impact the lives they touch. Are these people perfect? No one is. Yet, God takes the smallest acts of obedience and turns them into ripples in the pond of eternity. Cornelius visited with Peter, accepted the Good News, and then shared it with his household. The faithfulness of Paul and Silas—even in prison, so impacted the jailer that he believed and shared the gospel with his household. If you knew the secret to unending wealth, wouldn’t you tell those you love most?  How about the location of the fountain of youth? Wouldn’t you tell others? Think how much more wonderful a relationship with God is than temporal riches.

HOW DO YOU RELATE?

Read Acts 2:39; 11:14; 16:31. Notice the effect one person’s acceptance of the Gospel had on their entire family and servants. Now read Proverbs 22:6 and ponder how you could be a better trainer. Go to tangle.com and type in “Find Us Faithful Steve Green.” Listen to the words of the song as you consider how you as a parent or significant adult in the life of a child can impact him/her for eternity. Record your thoughts. Pray for the salvation of your family and for discernment of ways you could be instrumental in this endeavor.
