It takes two, baby!

Couples who serve God together can provide a double-whammy effect on a church body or a community. Serving provides a common ground upon which two people can share their faith and walk with each other. In today’s society marred by crumbling marriages and failing family units, it also provides a much-needed example of how God intends marriage and family to work.

HOW DO YOU RELATE?

Read Acts 18; Romans 16:3-5; 2 Corinthians 16:19; and 2 Timothy 4:19. Note that Priscilla and Aquila are never mentioned separately, but rather are always written about as a husband and wife team who ministered in the early church. Do you know a couple like this? If you are married, write down ways you and your spouse can serve the Lord as partners and spend time together prayerfully seeking ways to serve for His glory and for the strengthening of your marriage.
