Have you ever stopped and thought about the people who shaped your spiritual life? Remember those Sunday School teachers down through the years who spent hours cutting out flannelgraph figures to bring the Scriptures alive to a child? Recall those pastors who spent all week preparing sermons that helped you learn more about the God you serve? And how about the repetitive training your parents gave you to protect your reputation and follow God’s golden rules? It’s up to us to train the generations that come after us. If not us, then who?

Read Deuteronomy 4:9. Make a list of the things your parents, teachers and pastors taught you that you can teach those who come after you.
