Ashamed

Mark 8:38
“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

My mother and I passed a big tent with chairs set up in neat rows. There was a pulpit, an altar and other things that suggested a tent revival. We begin discussing if souls were being saved in the services there. As we drove on down the road I mentioned a preacher who stands at the edge of our four-lane highway on Sundays and preaches. He often holds up his Bible and quotes Scripture. We agreed that most would be ashamed to take part in these things that promote the gospel. Please dear Lord, let me not be ashamed but rather find opportunities to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus with others.
