Janglings And Babblings

1 Timothy 1:6 “From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling.”
2 Timothy 2:16 “But shun profane and vain babblings; for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”

Vain janglings? Profane babblings? Hmm. Where do we hear these? Well, how about on TV or at the beauty shop? At school, in a restaurant, on the radio, over the telephone, at work or at the doctor’s office. Even at your front door when visitors want you to take literature loaded with janglings and babblings. It’s any means whereby folks disagree with God, His Word, His doctrine and His instructions. Do we know the Scripture so well, that we know where God wants us to stand on issues? Shun vain janglings and profane babblings at all costs.
