A Promised Home

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you”  (John 14:2).

With today’s economy, many couples don’t start out buying a home.  God provides for their needs, and, they tend to be contented with what they can find.

I never had my own home. I  rejoice in the hope of one day soon I’ll be moving into my mansion. You may not have possessed much in this life, but visualize what’s waiting for you.

Since God always keeps His promises, you can rejoice with me that will He will keep the promise of today’s verse.

In closing out this week’s study, let us be thankful for all the “new” God has allowed us to keep.  He bestows on us so many gifts and blessings in this life. As we grow older with or without a spouse, we must remember “the best is yet to be.”
