Romans 8:1,2
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.â€
Do we have skeletons in our closet? Sure we do, but God has given us many weapons to fight temptation, sin and Satan. We can strengthen our Christian lives against these things in our closets. My sons all hike, camp, climb, repel, dive and other things that may appear unsafe. My husband and I have taught them to always stay in the perimeter of safety. He oversaw their activities with caution, structure and guidance.
The Holy Spirit is a special gift to us. A perpetual teacher, guide and warning system. He will never guide us in the wrong paths, so if we “walk after the Spirit,†He will always lead us into the truth. Our defensive plan today is to walk after the Spirit.
