“And that ye put on the new man, where after God is created in righteousness and true holiness”(Ephesians 4:4).
We should have the desire to put off those “old man rags” and clothe ourselves with our new nature. Basically, as we think about our verse, “it’s out with the old and in with the new.”
By removing baggage from the past, old habits, and any obstacles that would hinder our walk with God, we are going feel more joy and peace. Most likely our husbands (if we are married) will notice how marvelous we look decked out in the garments of “righteousness and holiness” God has created for us.
