Hindered Prayers

“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered” (1 Peter 3:7).

Though our verse is directed toward the men, we, as women, should not give them any reason for not treating us with honor.  Christian couples are partners in receiving God’s blessings. If there are some issues in our marriages that are causing problems, our prayers may be hindered.  We are borrowing trouble if we allow that to go on when we know He stands ready to help resolve any problems we face.

Is there something in your relationship with Christ that is hindering you from all He would have you be?  Ask Him for help in removing any obstacles.
