“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
We, as children of God, wait for our Bridegroom to come. He showers us with love and gifts. The latter helps us, as well as others, make ready for the most glorious wedding ever. He bestows gifts to promote unity and help us encourage each other in the faith. Following today’s verse, we find some rules on how to best apply our God-given gifts.
These gifts can be wisely used in any relationship. They are there to help us be ready when the Bridegroom comes.
