Avoid Arguments

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Corinthians 1:10).

Divisions within the body of Christ are sad to see.  Arguments only fuel more conflict. Nothing is resolved and the work of the church comes to a halt.  What kind of example are we setting for unbelievers as well as young believers?

We will never agree on everything. We must bond together in spite of that fact.  A church does more harm than good when believers are constantly bickering about something.  Usually it’s over some insignificant thing that can fester into something major. It  all  comes down to the fact that to keep unity we simply have to avoid arguments.
