“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear….†(1 John 4:18a).
Do we have perfect love? Do we even know what perfect love is? We know we love our husband and children, but what about those bus kids who bump up against us in the hallways of our churches. How about that neighbor who is just a tad bit too inquisitive or the grocery store clerk who is having a bad day and takes it out on us. In verses 16 and 17, we read that if we dwell in love we dwell in God and there our love is made perfect. There are so many ways God can use our love for Him and for others. Let us perfect our love in Him which produces NO FEAR!
