Meet Me at the Table

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).

Let us examine another way our souls are fed.  Imagine a nice table spread and you are the only one sitting there to enjoy the meal. That’s a pretty lonely picture.  That picture becomes a happy portrait when you see every chair filled around the table.

Our souls need the fellowship of other believers.  We need that sense of extended family as we meet together to worship, sing, and pray. Having that common bond, knowing we’re all in this journey together is something the world cannot offer.

Jesus is coming soon.  Now more than ever we need the encouragement of other believers. Let’s get together for worship. Let’s  be fed with spiritual food and enjoy each other’s company.  This will feed your soul and prepare you for the week ahead.
