Stop Blaming Others

“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat” (Genesis 3:12).

As a woman, I must defend Eve to some extent. Two wrongs still don’t make it right. Adam was quick to blame Eve. However, they were both at fault. Instead of Adam admitting he was wrong, he made it seem like it was all her doing. I don’t read she forced him to partake of the forbidden fruit.

Many times we find ourselves being like Adam. We sin and we look around for someone to blame. We must stop and look in the mirror and see our imperfections. More than likely, it will lead to repentance.
