Living in the Present (Part Two)

On a personal level, I am presently leading a Thursday afternoon Bible study at my church.  My years of writing devotionals have helped me dig deeper into the Word. This has been helpful as I work on preparing lessons. I pray my health won’t hinder me from anything I try to do for the Lord.

Most people aren’t aware that my daughter is battling stage four pancreatic and liver cancer.  Our Treasure studies this year, especially the ones this fall, have helped me tremendously.  I still believe in miracles. I’m praying He has one for my daughter.    I continue to use writing as a ministry.  I send out monthly letters to members of my church who are shut-ins or who reside in nursing homes. I still write poetry which tends to inspire me first. After forty years, I hope God will continue to use me to write for Him.
