THAT OLD FEELING.
Ephesians 4:23 “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;â€
A magnet I placed on my refrigerator said, “The more people I meet the more I love my dog.†How many of us have had that feeling in our lives? I know pastors’ wives who have withdrawn into a solitary life because of hurt feelings. I want to have more faith in people, but it will take a renewed mindset. We lose ground when folks have to prove themselves to us first, instead of us reaching out with a helping hand. We are not responsible for the way others feel about us or treat us. It is our responsibility to do God’s will and show an unloving and unkind world the love of God. Let’s pray for each other today that the Lord will send us a renewing of the spirit of our minds.
